How did I Appear Offline in Gmail
A few minutes ago one of my friends told me I was appearing offline in gmail !!!

How did it happen ?

Get on to Pidgin messenger at http://pidgin.im/ and select to appear in off-line mode. To tell you that your friend in screen-shot isn't using Google talk, as you can't see the "Send file" button, just because he's using another messenger, say pidgin(the next popular, formerly known as Gaim).
I guess its all down to the XMPP Presence Tag, Somehow google talk missed to sent it out or may be he did not recieve my presence packet.
